    USPS does not.

UPS delivers in a matter of DAYS.
USPS delivers in a matter of weeks.

    UPS offers tracking.
USPS doesnt do shit if the package never makes it, and they don't offer tracking or even a measly delivery confirmation. (because it's transferred into the Canadian mail system)

If our customers in Canada need something fast, we'll ship it UPS and they are fully aware of the excessive brokerage fees... otherwise we ship USPS and it takes up to FIVE WEEKS. (absurd if you ask me, for a package weighing less than 1lb)

From what Ive heard though, FedEx started incorporating the brokerage fees in with their costs for shipping. I'd imagine UPS will be following soon if they want to remain competitive.

Actually its the other way around. USPS is MUCH MUCH faster and cheaper when shipping packages. When you ship things priority they use airplanes to transport the packages, not ground like ups and fedex. I received my quickshifter in 2 days shipped all the way from RI to CA with USPS... thats amazing considering it only cost 5 bucks.

Delivery confirmation is enough to me. I dont need to know where exactly my package is at all times, just that its been delivered or not

You know that it has been delivered when you get it. What is the point of delivery confirmation?

USPS ships alot of their volume through UPS actually.
UPS has a very large account with USPS. A lot of the mail you think is going through USPS is actually being hauled around by UPS and then given back to USPS at the delivery location.

    The same way with DHL.
I have always found that funny.

People will say USPS is better not knowing that UPS or FEDEX is actually moving it.

Fed ex used to have the majority of USPS delivery until UPS got the business.

She's talking about cross-border shipping, and she's right. UPS might be a hell of a lot more expensive, but it gets here a hell of a lot quicker.

I purchased a TRD differntial from a guy in canada. It was heavy so shipping had to be quite a bit but the seller paid for it. After I recieved it I got a call from some third party company saying I owed them x amount of dollars for their services (paying some kinda fees/taxes or some shit like that) I told them that I was the reciever of the package; the sender paid shipping and that 1. I have no contract or obligational commitment to them and 2. They should have collected the fees before I got my package so they could go **** themselves.

Im talking about from US to Canada. Totally different.

USPS doesnt offer tracking. DC doesnt mean shit, either. It means the postman dropped the package off somewhere and scanned it. Boom. Delivered.

We ship out hundreds of packages a week, not counting International. We need tracking info to see where our packages are, and so we can provide that info to our customers.
