    Press release follows:

    R6Live.com to Sponsor Melissa Paris

Salt Lake City, Utah (May 25, 2010) The members and staff of R6Live.com are proud to announce their sponsorship support of AMA Pro rider Melissa Paris this weekend at Miller Motorsports Park. Paris was invited back to contest the Salt Lake City round of the World Supersport Championship, and R6Live seized on the opportunity to show their support. The community was asked to raise the funds necessary for the sponsorship, and they responded with overwhelming enthusiasm, meeting the donation goal in less than 18 hours!

Paris, who will contest the weekend on a Yamaha YZF-R6 built by RM Racing, was pleased with the unique prospect of working with R6Live.

“I am so excited to be working with R6Live,” said Melissa. “Anytime someone steps up to help your race efforts, it’s an amazing feeling. But when a group of individuals gets together and does something like this, it kind of catches you off guard. It’s so cool and inspiring knowing that you have this kind of support behind you!”

“Our site is a community of avid racers and race fans,” said Pete Hitzeman, co-administrator of R6Live.com. “So when we saw the chance to work with Melissa to help make her effort come together at Miller this year, we jumped on it! She is truly one of the great personalities in the sport, and has been fantastic to work with in the past. We’re extremely proud to have her represent us this year, and wish her every success this weekend!”

      Awesome job!
Seriously can't wait to see her race and see if I can see the R6Live logo on the bike.

Great job setting this up and working with her.

Another happy day to be a YAMAHA owner

For me its not about being a Yamaha owner. Its about being part of a community who stood up for what was right when shit went sour. We all login here because we have a common interest in motorcycles but we keep coming back because of the strong community.

Thanks guys! And yeah, Trav, it was a little strange coming up with my own quote. If it helps, I did actually say it out loud... to... myself.

And Vort3x, I agree. There's a reason this community keeps going, and achieves things like this, and other sites don't. I'm just glad to be a part of such an amazing group of people!

She should race topless. Unfortunately then NO ONE would be looking at the sticker. I'd watch the race though!
    1. dzuyd's Avatar
she should have a tail cam on the bike... you know so we can see her butt move around on that seat

Race Report MRA Round 3 - HPR - Race Reports

    Wow. What a weekend.

I feel like if you squeezed me, I would leak water. It literally started raining when I drove out to the track on Friday and did not stop until 3PM on Sunday.

The weekend was crazy from the get go. My buddy I always pit with got a DUI on Wednesday and was in jail until Friday. So I had no way to contact him or find out what happened. I just knew I needed his generator so I called his roomate and went and picked it up.

So I load the... Read More Read More

    My first race report!

I used to read everybody else's reports and get jealous that I couldn't do the same. Now I can join the ranks of race reporters!

Unfortunately I had to work on Friday so I had to wait until after 5:00pm to head out to the track. From my previous threads you might have heard that the weather was going to be crappy. Well it wasn't! The racing gods gave us sunshine and a few clouds until the last race on Sunday. The very minute the last race was over, it started... Read More Read More

When WSMC announced they were adding rounds at the Streets of Willow for 2010 my eyes lit up instantly. I made a quick call to Andy over at West Coast GP Cycles and said "Dude, you gotta let me race the 450 again…" Andy of course laughed at this, and said "ITS ON!!" This was several ...
