    ...like this guy did, literally. This happened near my house on a usually busy three-lane boulevard. Crash forensics estimated his speed at impact @ 130 mph. He was wearing a full-face yet his jaw was found 700 feet from the scene.

    The driver spent two days in the hospital before being released with severe bruising and a couple broken bits. She's lucky as hell. There were no other occupants.

    The pic was taken by traffic homicide just after they dragged it off the road. I was told that physics and other factors such as tach freeze (13K) and gearing (in 5th) put the estimate as high as 150+ but they can't prove it so they just listed it at the "low" end of 130 mph. It was a gixxer 750 with OEM sprockets but was stated it had a power commander. *shrug*

    Gotta watch out for those power commanders, they'll get you every time...
