A couple demos are out this week... I'll give you my take on them: 1.) Hawx demo. Meh. I hope online play with this game is better, otherwise this is ace combat 7 1/2. I'd save your time unless Air Combat 7 1/2 sounds good to you. Everyone played the game Afterburner in the arcades. Basically you go against waves, and waves, and waves of bad guys. You fire your unlimited stockpile of missiles at them, and they blow-up. EVERY FRIGGIN' CONSOLE FLIGHT GAME---if it has weapons---USES THIS FORMAT. I'm sick of it. I want flight dynamics. I want some level of intimacy with the 1 or 2 planes I'm trying to shoot-down rather than this orgy of missiles and disposable MiG-29s. Sadly...the HAWX demo is exactly that. Just like Blazing Angels. Just like Ace Combat. 2.) Afro Samurai - Worth a download. This is just button mashing and killing things, but it's done with such an awesome 2009 flare. Hearing Samuel L. Jackson go, "I ain't your goddamn GPS" is worth pressing the down arrow 100 times.

The new demo is identical to the retail version.

The motorstorm demo is definitely worth a download-and-play. That said, it's a bit too san francisco rush for my liking.
Hawx demo was a huge let down for me personally.

I DL'ed the Major League Baseball 2K9 demo yesterday, not too bad if you are into baseball. You get to play a 3 inning game Rays v Phillies

I was looking forward to HAWX... I guess I'll give it a try anyway, but I was hoping it would be a little different form ace combat.

It does have the 'assistance off' mode where you're flying the plane from the outside. That's redeeming, a little. It doesn't have some silly AI telling you its life story. That's redeeming, a little. Otherwise, the combat is the same as it ever was.
