And to answer Pepe, lots of people ride in Africa. Popular trips for Europeans to grab a BMW whatever and kill it all over the country. Think Long Way Around, Riders for Health too.

haha don't know much about angola but i know being young i would love to spend some time working overseas just to see the world. how long would he have to work there for? if it was only like a year or two i hear that companies can offer some pretty attractive packages to do so.Originally Posted by FoaMy

They are 28 day tours....28 days on, 28 days off, travel days are on your off days. I don't know how long the contract is in terms of months/years.
I agree that it's great to have that kind of job when you're young, but Dave is 43 and has been there/done that. He's seen the world through his work travel and he's tired of it now. He'd rather be at home. As it is right now, he's doing 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off....and that's pretty hard.
