Not worth it, IMO. I don't buy conflict free gasoline, why would I bother with conflict free diamonds?

^ Joe will like it when you finally slip that ring on his finger.
And to answer Pepe, lots of people ride in Africa. Popular trips for Europeans to grab a BMW whatever and kill it all over the country. Think Long Way Around, Riders for Health too.
Dave's company just got a contract in Angola. They asked him if he'd go.

haha don't know much about angola but i know being young i would love to spend some time working overseas just to see the world. how long would he have to work there for? if it was only like a year or two i hear that companies can offer some pretty attractive packages to do so.
amazing
They are 28 day tours....28 days on, 28 days off, travel days are on your off days. I don't know how long the contract is in terms of months/years.
I agree that it's great to have that kind of job when you're young, but Dave is 43 and has been there/done that. He's seen the world through his work travel and he's tired of it now. He'd rather be at home. As it is right now, he's doing 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off....and that's pretty hard.![]()
