France in September... who fancies it???

As the topic says who fancies a run to France in September to the Bol D'Or at Magny Cours. The race is the weekend of the 13th and 14th. Tickets cost about 62 euro's for the weekend including paddock pass and camping.

We will be going on the channel tunnel on the morning of Thursday 11th, the ride across to a Formula 1 inn near to the track, get a good nights sleep then friday morning get to the track early to stake out a good camping area in the camp site, mark off an area with tape like the french do and build a bonfire... Might be a case of 2 motoring ahead and getting the area marked out. Then go on the run to the local supermarket for plenty of beer and Pernod. Watch the races and qualifying on friday then start the heavy drinking. Race and drinking Sat/Sun. Pack up after the race sunday and travel to Formula 1 inn, get a well needed shower and sleep (you won't sleep much at the track its a big and i mean big party). Wake up monday and ride up to the tunnel and back home.

I've got the 11th until the 15th booked off. Once we've sorted out some crossings i'll post up. Tickets can be brought in advance or at a supermarket once across there for the racing. Formula 1 inn costs about 25 euro a night. Then its just petrol and beer money!

Most of the riding will be done in the daytime as we may be on track bikes with daytime MOT's so it could get interesting in France

So everyone is welcome the more the merrier, should be about 5 of us so far that will probably meet at the track.
