    Hey, I'll be in Japan somewhere in May and once again in July.

    Is it worth renting a bike over there with them driving on the wrong side of the road and all...

    dude I totally missed this, I'm sorry about that.

    Well let's see, I've known a couple of people that have done that. The only thing you need to check on is the license requirements for your country. On my first stay there I didn't bother but to be honest, I wish I had. I think this time around I will get a Japanese license and actually buy a motorcycle. I haven't ridden a bike in over a year and that really gets me down.

    If I were you, I'd do it. It's a once in a lifetime experience. If you're up in Tokyo (Roppongi to be specific) shoot me a pm and if I have a bike I'll join you, if not I'll hook you up with some peeps to ride with.

    Time is coming...

    Id didn't realise it would go so fast. Saturday I'll be leaving for Japan !
    4 days work in Hokkaido and then 10 days holiday ! Banzai !!!!

    I'll be in Tokyo from 14-17 and in Kyoto from 17-23 with excursions to Kobe, Osaka, ...
    Can't wait !

    If you have any Ryukan in Tokyo to recommend (reasonably priced), let me know.
    I'm staying in Hotels for work but for holidays it's too expensive and mingling is much nicer
