does anybody kno if i would be able to map a PCIII without having to have it dyno'ed???

and does anybody kno if i have to have a certain program to download the maps? or is it as simple as hooking your computer up to the PCIII and finding, a specific map, for your bike, and then downloading it???

The software is here. Welcome to Power Commander Motorcycle Fuel Injection Tuning Module

You can use a cookie cutter map but it's not as good as a custom.

There's really no point in running any kind of map without a dyno session. Every bike is different, and responds to changes in fueling differently.
I know this because I have a PCIII and tried a couple of "good" cookie- cutter maps for my '07. I swore they were better than stock, but the dyno doesn't lie... my bike was actually down on power from stock because it was running so rich.
You're not going to buy this; you'll find some map online somewhere that somebody with your bike swears is the sh!t, and you'll load it and you'll swear the bike is faster than Jesus himself...
You dropped the coin on the hardware, you should drop an equal amount using it correctly.

^ This, word for word. There is no shortcut to dropping a couple bills on a good tune.

I gained +6 hp from one of the "good" maps available and a custom tune. It was easily worth the price.

EVERY bike is different. No 2 bikes are the same. There are many things that factor in on the tune, including your location (altitude, climate, etc). No "good" map will factor everything in. A custom tune will take YOUR BIKE'S a/f ratio for YOUR location and adjust it exactly where it needs to be.

I got my bike dynoed yesterday... they said i was running pretty good. They didnt do nething to change it. Would it even be worth it to get a custom map??? Would it boost hp at all? Mine was dynoed at 96. Has nebody else got their bike dynoed and what is the hp?

96? That's a little low. What year? What mods? Iirc, stock on an 07 is ~104 rwhp.
