Changed from stocks to the RS a few weeks ago. Put about 100 miles of street riding on them before I went to NJMP for a track weekend. Saterday was rainign all day and I have to say riding with these tires made me nervous. I just took it easy and tried to have smooth transitions. I made the day without going down.
Sunday, it was sunny, cold and very windy. I had the same tire pressure as saterday which was a little to low I believe but I rode them anyway. Temps were in the high 40's most of the day. I can say that I felt a lot more comfortable out of the rain, and I dont think these tires slipped up once.

I have the 002RS on my 06 R6 now and had it last season. Tires are amazing. I believe i got out 4 trackdays with them. A friend with a liter bike only got a trackday and a half. I also used the qualifiers that came stock for 4 trackdays and i preffered the 002rs. Plenty of grip for your average street ride and trackday. The cost is unbelievable, inexpensive compared to michelins and pirellis. If you do majority of your ride for the street you might wanna try bt 16 for longer life. i'm going to be using the dc3 on my r1 as it came with it already. I dont feel like spending a set of d3 for my R6 if i know the 002rs works for me. the write up was pretty good and similar to my experience. More effort when you initiate your lean but when your leaning that sucker sticks and you can actually accel harder and have a better exit out of turns. GUYS if you are seriously considering going to the track or looking for a trackday tire this is the ONE. yes you can go DOT Race tire but these are inexpensive set of tires for plenty of grip. cyclesector and absolutecycleperformance has the best prices for them. just check out there websites or PM me for details. I'll be down in NJMP a handful of times and at other various tracks this year and will be riding around bear mt so hit me up if you have any questions.

These tires are awesome! Changed out the stock tires on the R1 for a set of these and they gave me a lot of confidence. I put about 200 miles on them before doing my first track day. Being that it was my first track day on a new bike I didnt really push it, but for my riding the were friggin great.

They have good feel on the street and in the canyons too.

My next set of tires Im going to try a set of BT016"s just to get a few extra miles out of them, but for the time being these are holding up fine and they have one track day and about 1K mils on them.
