I have narrowed my choices down to the bridgestone bt-003 and the bt-016. I currently have pilot powers but i dont go to the track at all but i still like to haul ass around the few curvy roads that i do have around here and the pilots where awesome but i just want to try out a different tire and the bridgestones are in my price range so if you could just tell me which one you like better it may further help my descision.

BT 016 will be better for you and will last longer.

I have run quite a few tires. I personally hated Pilot Powers due to their lack of feedback and very small danger window, but I loved the profile and turn in. They got some decent mileage too.

The BT-016's warmed up SUPER fast and were so rock solid and felt like you were on rails. They only lasted 3,000 miles for me though.

The BT-003 RS's are fantastic and double as a super awesome track tire. I got some great life out of the rear too. Almost better than the 016 which was surprising.

I am currently running the Metzler Sportec M3's and I like them. They have really good grip and oh my god do they give great feedback. They almost talk to you and say "hey buddy I am starting to slip, correct yourself!" Another low mileage tire though. Arizona heat doesn't do great things for tires though.

Next tire I am going for is either the Dunlop qualifier or the Pirelli Corsa's. I would recommend just keep jumping around to find the profile and tire that you love best!

if you're going to hit up any trackdays soon, then the bt-016 will more than suffice your needs. bt003rs are a bit overkill for the street.
