    Default ECUnleashed/JettTuning ECU Review

I was told to post up after I used it. I used the ECU at Autoclub Speedway 4/24.

    My bike is a 2006 Yamaha R6.

I noticed these points right away:
    * Downshifting and engine braking was improved, it felt more stable under hard braking and downshifting. I felt a lot more confident.
    * Top end is a lot stronger, a lot stronger.
    * The higher idle will trip you out at first
    * I swear it's louder and more high pitched in the upper rpms, I had to start using ear plugs!

I did not re-tune my bike after the flash.

    Questions? ask away.

Did you get a dyno before? Do you plan on getting another one to see the diff?

I did a custom dyno map before. I do not plan on getting another one. The bike runs great. I usually ride with the same people and I've noticed that my bike is faster.

I did a 1:43 on my old set up but this time only a 1:46. It was my first time out for the season and a lot of things changed on my bike (forks/shocks, brake master cylinder, clip-ons) and I'm not comfortable yet. I took it easy and didn't really push it. My goal is a 1:39 out there. I think I can do it!

We will be picking up our new R6s very soon, and this mod is at the top of the list. I got the chance to meet John Ethell, owner of Jett Racing, at the Honda Indy test day (John was RL Haydens crew chief). We actually talked quite a bit. I am convinced this is a must have item. Tdub
