What I do after it's drained is stick a garden hose in the radiator and let it run with the plug out til it's only water coming out. To burp it you just have to make sure the thermostat opens up. When it does it will "burp"

    Yeah, you can run the bike up to temp with the radiator cap off, obviously just dont be putting your eyeball right next to it or anything. When the thermostat opens it will burp the air out of the system, then you can fill your radiator up the rest of the way. May run it for a while and check it again to see if lean angles of the bike have allowed any more air to escape to the top of the radiator and refill as necessary.
