Yeah, you're gonna need a PC5. Might as well get a BMC air filter too before you map it. Hopefully you can find an existing map that's close. You eliminate a lot of backpressure when you ditch the oil drum under the bike. You'll probably notice a lot of backfiring when downshifting too.
Good luck with tuning that combo.
^exactly.
Go ahead and remove the AIS too while you're installing the air filter.

It's a fuel management device. It will fix the air/fuel ratio.

There is an auto-tune add-on for the PCV but a custom tune(dyno) is always recommended.

you guys know for sure that the pc5 will work for his 06?
Damn!!! Good call. I didn't notice the year....I just agreed with @Dangerdog's suggestion. I have read several places that it works on 06+ though......but yeah.....change my suggestion to PC3.
I've been tempted to get a PCV and try on my 07.

Oh shit, I thought I read 09. Yeah PC3 was designed for the 06. Might check with DynoJet to see if the PC5 would work. I do know they changed some shit on the fuel injection on the newer bikes and added that variable length intake to the mix.
We actually had put a PC3 on one of our 09 staff bikes that received a gratis pipe from Yosh that we got, and when we installed it with just the basic Yosh full system map from the DynoJet site, the thing ran like shit down low and didnt wake up till you were at about 8k. So it doesn seem to work trying to put an older Power Commander on a newer bike, so chances are a newer one might not work on an older bike, unless they've designed the newer ones to be backwards compatible.
