Passenger pegs!!

This is a discussion on Passenger pegs!! within the R6 General forums, part of the Yamaha R6 category; anybody know what you can do so they wont fold down (for standup wheelies)...

    not sure what you are asking, but removing them would prevent them from folding down and getting in your way. Start using two wheels and crank it over on to the side.

    Good question. I learned real quick that standing on it doesn't work. I'm sure there must be some replacement pegs that don't fold.

    that's pretty stupid cause it one more thing to be impaled with when you fall but I supposed you could weld them or drill and pin them.

    On the second gens, you can just swap sides with the pegs and it fixes the issue......but that doesn't work on ours.

    Mine are really stiff they won't fold down unless you make them fold. I might be selling them if you are interested

    Drill and pin them in place. Or use heavy gauge safety wire.

    i powder coated mine and now they are super hard to fold
