I did this to my throttle and clutch cables this weekend.
Awesome. I adjusted my throttle freeplay and noticed a huge difference. Doesnt stick anymore on the throttle. Didnt really feel a difference on the clutch though.

guys a quick question. is the procedure the same for 06+ models(because of the ride-by-wire throttle system) or i have to do something else(especially about disassembling the right switch)? thanks for your quick respone!(tommorow morning i have a track day and the throttle really sticks...)
Don't worry about the ride-by-wire. In regards to the cables, the throttle system is pretty much the same. The actual procedure may be a little different though, as the throttle cable housing on the 3rd gen is separate from the switch housing. The screws are in the front instead of the bottom i think.
thanks dzuyd for your quick reply. it was an easy fix! the 06 rides like new now!!!
, have fun on your trackday! Post some pics
