    THanks!!!! did what you said and the thread on the shaft that holds the sprocket with the nut was COMPLETELY unthreaded and no bolt to be found anywhere?? Thanks and I have a new front and rear sprocket as well as a new chain and working on getting that shaft re-threaded using a plumebers threading tool im going to buy tonight...Thanks!!!

    I'm glad you found the problem, but be careful when re-threading it yourself. The thread will need to have enough meat on it in order for you to torque it correctly. You may have to replace the entire shaft
