YOU MUST BE FAST.. YOU WERE HAULIN ASS WHEN I PASSED YOU
I use mobile1 full synthetic which royal purple probably is too. Before you go full synthetic you have to go semi first. Lasts couple thousand miles longer and is just plain better as far as function and protection as far as I know.
I wanna dip my balls in it !!

From there though, once you go synthetic, you're not supposed to go back from what I hear.
It does not matter one bit what so ever, use it first or last switch when ever to what ever.
Full SYN seems to shift better off right off the bat for most but no matter what oil one uses you must change it every few thousand miles. A full SYN will last ten of thousands in a engine only applications but motorcycles that use a combined engine and gearbox lucubration oil its the additive package ( viscosity improver's ) that take the beating. The the sheer from the gearbox will chew them up and leave you with a nice clean base stock of 5 or 10 weight oil within a few thousand miles. That does not offer much protection for engine parts a opp temp.
RP stuff seems to be at a pretty high price point but its a good product. Which ever you choose make sure it does not have a EC ( Energy Conserving ) rating. Molly benedum disulfide is not good for the clutch.
