    Hey guys.

I was just changing my chain and I thought that the chain would come with a clip type master link but it came with a rivet type. I had two Motion Pro chain tools. Snapped both of them trying to set rivets. Got the D.I.D. tool (basically the same as the RK) and never looked back. High quality piece, as opposed to the rather "Harbor Freight" quality of the Motion Pro, in my experience.

    I have the RK tool.

You can run to Harbor Freight and pick up a generic that will work fine though.

I have the original Motion Pro and the only problem I had was a couple snapped pins from using it for something it wasn't meant for.

I have a Motion Pro one as well, never any issues with it or any of the other of the many Motion pro tools I have.

I remember you saying this before, which one of the few they have did you have issues with?

I'd go with the RK, that thing looks beefy. I've snapped 2 motion pro pins using them exactly as recommended...was so frustrating.
