    Mine started right around that mileage and I kept riding it up until around 24k before I did the valves. It fixed the problem 100%. Our exhaust valves get really tight which is causing this issue. You can try doing it yourself otherwise that quote is right inline for what it costs to have someone do an adjustment.

    Ok i would like to work on my own bike, but dont know where to start.... if someone could help me out on adjusting the valves, i would really appreciate it. I have almost every tool for cars so i think i have everything i need to do it myself... also if any parts are needed, what brand i should use and where to get it from. ( i live in southern california)

    Yeah, most likely that's it. My pile only has 13k on it, but the vast majority of that are all hard track miles and probably about 200 miles in race conditions, and it's been doing that for quite some time.

    Download the manual and it will tell you how to do everything exactly.
