feeler guage sizes.

my feeler guages came with this chart on the back of the package. i thought I'd share them so everyone can use them.
if you noticed you probably have a set of guages that don't match any of the numbers/specs in the service manual.
you need this conversion chart to know which one of your guages to use.

your guages will not say for example. .23 mm so you look on the chart at .23 that goes with .009in. your guages will be marked .009in the actual mm will be .229mm

Mine are stamped with both SAE and metric.

well these are too but not to anything in the book or on the package. go look at yours I bet they're the same way. both sets of mine are.
example above. .009in is actually .229mm not .230. so if you're hunting through your guages trying to find .230 you aren't going to find one. it will say .009in/ .229mm

I went to 5 stores tring to find a set with all the numbers in the service manual for the valve specs. they don't make them in those sizes. they're all just a few hundredth's of a mm off.
