Thumbs up Racefit Growler = :drool

I just got my Growler today and threw it on, and I gotta say DAMN!

I don't have the baffle yet because they're backordered or something or other but I really hope that makes it a little bit quieter than it is right now because at this point, I will definitely get stopped... Well, at least in one city for sure because they're extremely anal about anything loud.

I just thought it was hilarious that they sent me ear plugs with the pipe .

All in all though, the Growler is just pure fuckin win in my book. I just hope the baffle quiets it down some because otherwise I'm sure it'll have to come off .

I'll post up pics after I wash my bike because right now it's just too dirty for pics, IMO.

If you guys really want them though (and you won't grill me about the dirty bike ), I'll post em up tomorrow when I get off of work anyways.

    EDIT:

Here the pics... I'm working on getting the sound clips. Hopefully over the weekend I'll be able to get a few good vids as long as the weather is nice. Enjoy

    And the ear plugs

^ Yeah and I really see why they sent 'em. I took the bike into work tonight and my ears were ringing for about 10 mins after I got to work

Never even got the rev's over 6.5k on the way in either

It just screams once you hit 5k... After the first quick test ride, I turned into my driveway and my friend was just looking at me shaking his head. I on the other hand just couldn't stop laughing and had a grin from ear to ear

yeah i had one of those, as soon as LOR started making their mock-up of racefit's growler I sold it and bought an Elka shock... just wasn't worth it for my specific bike since I do so many track days- risking going down with a $600+ pipe didn't make me too comfortable.

It's a great pipe, I love blipping the throttle slightly at idle just to get it up to like 2k and back- sounds sick. I've been through a lot of pipes, and the racefit/LOR design is definitely the loudest and deepest tone. I currenty have an 06 shorty and it's just as loud, but it doesn't have the low rumble kind of sound at low rpms.

    Enjoy it man...

Very true. There might be some jealousy showing through.
