Short answer...Yes, it would be a waste of money.

If you're looking for more zip out of your bike I would suggest spending your money on a 520 conversion (-1/+2 sprockets).

I don't know. Fastest I've had the bike was 145mph...before and after the conversion.

Yeah bang for your buck on speed, not the best mod, gearing is single handedly the biggest performance upgrade with the least amount of dough.

HOWEVER, installing a PC3 or 5 will certainly help throttle lag and smoothness of the throttle delivery, (when tuned by a good mechanic,) and will help you yank a little extra out of the bike. But you'll need to have it retuned once you get a pipe, so I might put it on with a stock map off the Power Commander site and wait to get your pipe before you get a custom tune.

Our staff R6's from last year had them on there for this very reason. Even with a stock pipe we were able to pull better power out of them. To boot, they actually ran the best on 87 octane, (in CA.)

The pcv would be the best way to go because you can buy the auto tune with it and u wont need a good mechanic to tune ur bike... U can change ur exhaust as much as you want. I installed it in my bike and I was amazed by it. Throttle improved idle improved and the torque you can really feel it. All the bike wants to do is just come up in first and second it changed my bike. I put a midpipe that I ordered on ebay and put the GYTR slip on.
