    whats with the sarcasm this whole thing started out as just one set for myself im just extending this out to you...i have a fiberglass hugger and front fender he made for me previously. ill just take it off and snap a shot of it if you just want to see any piece off the bike

    , +1 on pics and any idea how well the fairing will hold up at track speeds?

    put it to you like this we made an un-manned surveillance aircraft for the government out of carbon fiber and it had a 300hp jet engine a ducted fan in the middle for take offs and went 300mph+...i think youll be ok on the track..im not guaranteeing it but i bet you will be ok if something in the garage falls on it or it tips over id say you should be just fine.maybe even sliding crashes, but just remember the pavement is hard as hell and coarse as shit it would grind anything up, if anything it would be like body sized sliders lol it wouldnt shatter and break apart and protect the frame/engine/wiring harness in a crash most likely

    i said a test run in fiberglass because carbon fiber is not cheap to waste.these were already made for me in fiberglass.

    So do you have any in carbon fiber that he made for you or has not made a single piece yet?

    no pieces yet hes pricing out carbon fiber and all other material needed.like i said hes a sculptor and does fiberglass work full time he just doesnt have the carbon fiber on hand because the demand wasnt there

    I'll be looking for an 07 tank cowl soon (or maybe even lowers) but CF is really easy to F up on curved faings. It's all about the direction of the weave and holding its form around the curves. I would have to see lots a pics before I'd drop that kinda dough......and make sure he uses 2x2 and not 1x1.
