Default Question regarding handle size - for bar end slider and mirrors - 1st gen

I want to ditch my stock mirrors on my 2002 R6 and rock some CRG 2" bar end mirrors. But I'll need the recommended Rhinomoto bar ends.

I just want to double check which size will fit the inner diameter of the bar/grips

    The .675" -.725" version

    or the .625" to .675"

2" CRG mirrors and Rhinomoto bar ends on a Monster:

    Bump.

Talked with someone at MotoWheels - the bar ends require the insides of the handlebars to be bored out.

My dad has decided to go a different route - by cutting other plastic, slider-style bar ends so the mirrors can clamp on (like photo in first post).

He has a a few machining instruments in our house that can cut this plastic like butter.

Almost forgot to post on this thread (since I made the pics it's own thread).

Fortunately, my dad has various machining equipment (lathe, press, etc) shop in our basement. So we picked up some hard plastic bar ends he cut them to fit.

Here is a pic of what we were going after:

Looks really good! You got to test how well they work while riding? Make it be able to fold in like the crgs would be pretty slick too.

    Visibility is surprisingly good.

    Vibration is non-existent.

I was thinking of the foldable ones but they are 3" and I wanted the smallest possible.

Love those pics! Nice carbon fiber add ons, integrated front turn signals, and your hard work with your mirrors!!

any way you can send me close up pics of your fender eliminator back view-side views, and under back seat views? Did she come with those integrated turn signals (what brand)? thanks!

It isn't weird having to take your eyes off the road to look down at the mirrors especially on a smaller 1 inch mirror?

Thank you thank you thank you. But the credit on the mirrors goes to my dad.

I'll have to take some pics of the fender eliminator later. That was literally the first thing to change when I purchased the bike in 2005 - I recall it was an eBay seller so I won't be able to specify a brand.

The integrated signals are by Proton. They truly are flush mounted. I actually recall having to sand them down a bit to sit perfect but they are by far the best I've seen.

I thought about that before mounting them, but I was pleasantly surprised to see it's much more natural than you think. Sure, your eyes glance lower, but it's nothing major and not the slightest bit awkward.
