Opinions....

This is a discussion on Opinions.... within the R6 Modifications forums, part of the Yamaha R6 category; Need to know what would look better in everyones opinion.... currently have blue 'Euro-Trash' marker lights (in the headlight) that ...

    Need to know what would look better in everyones opinion....

    currently have blue 'Euro-Trash' marker lights (in the headlight) that are not blinkers, just blue running lights.

    THinking about loosing the Euro lights, switching to blue Audi Style LEDs under the projectors... thoughts?

    Also, anyone ever cut down your windscreen? thinking of trimming mine a little shorter. Thanks in advance

    Need pics.

    As far as the windscreen.......you must have the stock windscreen. I say get a double bubble and be done with it. A db doesn't have that long, flat look like the stock one. Here's a pic.

    i really wanna do the corner light mod to my 06. All i have to do is get some bulb sockets drill the hole (plus sealant of course) and wire it to my front blinkers and be done with it?

    and im deff. getting those headlight covers. those look badass.

    it was pretty easy yeah.. there is a write up on it here somewhere. I couldnt help if you have a 3rd gen.. my r6s didnt need the whole front end removed. wiring is easy, depends is you want running only or used as turn signals. I did marker lights only, and ran it to the tag light +12 since i removed it with my eliminator.

    BlueBeast... I have a 2nd Gen, the windscreen aftermarket, just not sure which one (on it when I bought it). Its not as bad as I thought though. Can you run blue LEDs in LA.. Interviewed in Monroe for a job, could be moving there. They are 100% legal in AR (as long as they CANT blink)...

    Not 100% on it, but I think so. My understanding is that they just can't project out. I see cruisers all the time with blue and green lights. Iirc, one of the Blue Knights (cop motorcycle group) that I rode with had blue leds on his.
