are you running tracks with long straights or lot's of technical sections? ideally you just get a whole rack of them and switch it out per track...
This^^
both so, curently palm beach international, homestead speedway and jennings gp

If doing both types of tracks and not racing, and not wanting to constantly swap out sprockets, I'd say gear it so you just about max it out on the fastest of the tracks you ride, then just ride with that gearing on the smaller tracks. It won't come off the corners quite as hard on smaller tracks, but if that's no biggie if you're not racing or really concerned about lap times, then you should be good to go.
It's hard to call out an exact number without having ridden the tracks you've got, but out here in Cali with a wide variety of tracks, -1/+2 generally is a pretty good ratio to regear to on the 06-2012 R6's. I might go to -1/+3, but the bike might top out at faster tracks like WSIR or Autoclub Speedway.
^^Yup. I have -1 +2 on my R6, love it.
I purchased a 520 kit from SportbikeTrackGear.com on cyber Monday. I ended up ordering the Driven kit -1/+2 with the EK MVXV chain. They were out of black Driven 47t rear sprockets so ended up switch it out for the Renthal rear sprocket. Looking forward to the delivery and results, a little extra "grunt" never hurt anybody...
2007 Yamaha R6: Akrapovic Slip-on, 520 Conversion, Spiegler Lines, SpeedoHealer, K&N Filter, Sportmax Q2's, Renthal Grips
-1/+2 will be good for most tracks. I run that at grattan, which has a huge front straight and I don't even top out 6th gear. Not sure what Palm Beach is like, but that gearing should be perfect for jennings.
-1 +2 is a solid combo kit. Got a sweet deal for Driven or Renthal at STG. Shoot me a call!

Depends on the occasion. Get a few different setups and feel them out. For the street and moderate track rider the minus one and plus two seems to work well on the low end.
