2007 R1

This is a discussion on 2007 R1 within the R6 Warranty and PreMature Failure forums, part of the Yamaha R6 category; I have an 07 R1 too.... thanks for the heads up!...

    no worries...also keep an eye on your radiator welds....I had one break, and dump all my anti-freeze on my rear wheel as I entered a corner. Yamaha warrantied the radiator without any questions.....same as the rear set, although Yamaha also had to replace my swing arm, because it got scratched when the rear set broke.....if you have any questions about the 07 R1...hit me up....just passed 22,000 miles...had it since April.

    ^ Wow sounds like there are a few problems with the 07 R1s, I agree that you should upgrade to aftermarket rear sets and you'll have no more silly problems! Thanks for letting me know, i'll tell the one guy i know who has an 07 R1.

    Man you are lucky as hell to have them replace all these things for you so easily.

    just do your homework and know what your talking about because they will try and get out of it if they can.
