Default PLEASE HELP 08 R6 ENGINE PROBLEMS!

Basically my 08 Dynoed 106.9hp stock last year. It was fast and pulled hard in every gear.

800 miles into this season and i notice its being a pooch, my oil has been changed the bike only has 4k on it and I pamper it.

ANy way i had it dynoed again same place to see if my suspicions were correct

well it only put down 88.6hp WTF no engine codes, no sounds, no vibrations etc?

what could this be , bike is still bone stock?

PLEASE HELP my warranty runs out in a month

it just feels like a dog, the dealer is stumped, it has a noticeable hickup at 14k

has ne one else had this problem?

    thanks in advance

What did the dealer check?....throttle bodies, valves, etc? Have you used an entire tank of gas since then?

Damn, I can't think of anything off the top of my head either... Spark plugs are all good, injectors good, timing's good and all that junk?

What about gas... Did this happen soon after filling up? Because if you got some cheap gas somewhere it could make it rn bad... Same thing happened to my car awhile ago when I got some cheap gas from an Admiral station... Thing just didn't wanna go and ran like shit...

there is diffinately something wrong... sound's like a similar thing I saw last year at a dyno shootout.. I put down a 105.4 on an 06 untuned with a race header and another guy from my riding group ran an 89.8 on a completely stock 06 that he never did anything to.. we both left scratching our head cus there was obviously something up with his bike

I'll hit him up and see if he ever figured out what the problem was

^ Yeah BP usually has the good stuff, but you might want to drain a little gas out of it into a jar or something and let it settle to see if anything happened to get in there... I could see a little water actually streak down the sides of the jar back when my car was running bad, but that was Admiral, not BP. Still might be worth taking a look at just in case water got into the tank somehow.

Well the first thing I could think of off the top of my head would be something with the top end of the engine. Obviously you do not have anything wrong with the lower end because if you did...that sucker would have let go a while ago. So you should probably be looking at either electronics, or your variable intake IMO. That much of a drop off of HP is pretty much outrageous.

I might think it to be a fuel / air delivery problem if not a mechanical problem with the top end as mentioned.

Have you checked your air filter to make sure you didnt suck up something massive? If it's stock with the intake grate though that wouldnt make much sense...

No code for the secondary injector rail in the top of your airbox (I THINK that's code 32?) Have you taken the airbox apart, disconnected the wiring for it and forgotten to reconnect it maybe?

Just tossin out some guesses here.
