If your tab has not broken off yet, you can put some plastic epoxy to the front side of the tab to help reinforce it. That seemed to work well for me so far.

both my sides have broken tabs but they dont make any noise or fly off and the the only dealership in my town is worthless its sad glad i liked yamaha before i went there they would have sent me running for a honda. they couldnt even figure how to order the fing part

old thread but I noticed the one on the right side was missing a couple weeks ago, and today on the fw I lost the left one! blows but Ill have to order them

Lost one of mine saving the bike from a major high side at turn 13 on Homestead speedway...but as everbody is saying they are cheap so that's probably why the break so easily

id love to find out where to get a set my dealership around me sucks big ones. they stoped carring so many things. now i refuse to even go to them for anything
