Some of you may have wondered about our new forum banners. These are in place as a way of advertising our sponsors’ sites without being overly intrusive. We would like to reassure our community that we will NEVER place any Google ads or anything outside of our sponsors’ banners on our forum. We have created the banners within the skins to create as small a footprint as possible, while still maximizing our sponsors’ exposure.

The funds generated from our sponsors are handled in four ways:

First, it pays for our server hosting bill.
Second, a percentage of the remaining funds goes to our free raffles for members which take place every other month.
Third, an additional percentage goes to a community-voted charity gift, which occurs quarterly.
Lastly, the remaining goes towards a yearly large raffle for our members.

Be assured that our goal is NOT to get rich, but instead, to strive towards making our R6 Community a stronger and better place. By having sponsors, we are able to support our Community and keep it going.
