Ok I'm posting this b/c of some of the recent accidents of motorcycles getting struck from behind while stopped at red lights ....
I haven't done a search on this or even read through any of the threads but just figured it wasn't mentioned and if so Mods please delete.
while out riding I've noticed several people that pull right behind and in the center of a vehicle when stopped at a red light and this is a big negative thing to do!
It gives no escape route if someone comes up quick behind you that may not be stopping. If you stop to either the left or the right of the vehicle in front of you
( basically to the ouside of the rear tire) this will give you an escape route if one is needed. It would suck to get sandwiched inbetween two vehicles.
Of course everyone knows not to just put it in neutral and wait till the light turns green (atleast until the vehicle behind you has completely stopped ) and it's also not a bad idea to flash the brake repeatedly a few times to get that flash and make yourself more noticeable...
thanks
