A little to allow the bike to shift up without the clutch.

Yeah, roll out a bit and slam the upshift with no clutch.

Quickshifter FTMFW though, no clutch, no rolling out just tap, tap, tap. Oh how I wish I had an extra 5 bills layin around.

no QS... I stay in the gas and jump the clutch, mid corner upshifts may vary

I use pretty much the same technique. On long straights I may do the clutchless upshift from time to time.

yup, just roll back for that instant to allow the gears to slide in. then back on gas. there really is no loss in power or time if you do it correctly.

Clutchless upshift all the time except for the 1-2 shift. I just roll off the throttle ever so slightly and fast that it doesn't lose the drive. Sometimes when I'm lazy I'll clutchless downshift depending on what is going on.

With the quick shifter I never roll out. Without it I do jsut for a sec but it can make mid corner shifting a bit of an adventure.
