    if its too low your bike will feel like your tires are greasy, it'll squirm and feel like all around shit

    actually if you look at the sticker on the frame of an R6 it says to run 42psi(cold) both front and rear..

    Well, my bike came stock with D208s, too. In this case, I'm not taking Yamaha's word for it on tires.

    woah, just saw this thread and ran to look at my tires, I was running at 18 in front and 22 rear on BT003rs, no wonder the were slipping. Anyways to make things short I increased both to a desirable 32/32 for aggressive street riding. It really made a night to day difference. Thanks for posting this thread...

    Ill try to make it a habit to check my tire pressures more frequently.

    when i Looked at mine its says 36psi both front and rear. with out passenger. but when i use that psi seems like tires are two hard and i get a scary feeling that my bike is going to slip of during curves so i use 34psi on both front and rear....

    Probably different ratings for different years.. 42 was on my 06 I run around 35 for the street and 30 for the track on the Stock Qualifiers
