I had that on my gloves and a helmet once. I trashed the helmet cause it was totally fu*cked with the stuff. I did wash my gloves though and they came out fine.

The gloves I had were brand new gp techs though... so I couldn't stand to trash them without trying to save them first.

I put them in the washing machine and dried them with a fan. They are still in good shape a year later. Your gloves look like they're pretty worn on the finger tips anyway... I'd just get new ones in your situation.

Yea, they've been through a few crashes at the track. I'm just going to throw them in the washer and see what happens. If it comes back, then I'll just get some new ones. If it doesn't, then I just saved myself over $100.

You can wash leather in a washing machine, this is how barnacle bill recommends doing it. If you can't take out the padding though that may be an issue.

Well, I threw them in the washer and then the dryer this weekend. Came out good. I'll see in a few weeks if the mold comes back.

Nope. Just sold all of my stuff in December, and there was nothing on them. So throwing them in the washer worked.
