Alright I guess Ill post up my write up.

I crashed at California Speedway in T3 a couple of months ago. Here is a write up on my gear:

    Alpinestars Race Replica Suit

How did you fall?: Lowsided on the left side at about 20-30 mph due to a flat front tire
Damage (pics or gtfo): Slight abrasion on left arm and shoulder. And fraying and burning of the leather on the left leg due to it being trapped under the bike as I fell. Leather did NOT burn through and I am very happy for that. It did its job.

Overall rating (how well do you think they held up in the situation?): 9.5/10. Would have liked for the white part on the leg not to come frayed like that. Other than that great job Alpinestars
    Other comments: A+ Alpinestars

    Alpinestars GP Pro Gloves

How did you fall?: See above
Damage (pics or gtfo): Slight scratching on the leather/placstic material. No busted stitches or burn throughs on either hand
Overall rating (how well do you think they held up in the situation?): 10/10. I love these gloves. They fit my hand perfectly and I have not had a problem with the "stitching issue" at all. I purchased them May of 08 and have been through 3 crashes and not a single problem. Most of the damage was from this crash though and they held like a champ. Will def. be sticking to these gloves

    TCX Competizone RS Boot

How did you fall?: See above
Damage (pics or gtfo): Slight scarring to the left boot. Protected my foot well with my foot being stuck on my footpeg below my bike.

Overall rating (how well do you think they held up in the situation?): 10/10
Other comments: The boots held up great in the crash, however I wouldn't buy them again. They constantly get stuck on my rearsets due to the zipper being on the inside of the boot. Part of the zipper actually got so worn on the rearset on my left boot that it came off at the track one day when I was zipping it up and I had to tape it up for the rest of the weekend. I wish the soles were a bit harder because my rearsets seemed to eat through them like a knife through butter. Ill be buying the supertechs next due to my luck with alpinestars.
