I'm looking for good entry level race boots. Any suggestions? Been riding for a little bit now, but just getting into track riding. Soon I'll be going to Lee Parks school and would like to get some boots. Nothing overly expensive, but good quality.

Sidi Vertigo's, I've used them on the track and on numerous rides, very comfy and easy to put on. Literally a zip up. I have crashed in them once at a trackday and they have held up 100% with no injury to my feet, ankles, or legs.
Edit: lots of replaceable parts, so if you crash in them it's easy as a screw out and screw in for the plates.
Where can I get a good deal?

Cheapest I've seen them are on forums for sale sections, thats how I picked mine up. Ebay on a good day has them around $240-250, and they usually go around $300 shipped.
what size shoe are you? I'm thinking about selling my corsas (one tier up from what seg posted) in really good condition. I need to get boots that fit a wider foot. Let me know if you fit a 45 (size 10.5 or 11)
if not, I would contact nick. He has some good prices and can recommend some good boots for you![]()
i dont know how muc A* SMX boots are, but ive had mine for atleast 3yrs (crashed 4 times) and they are holding up great. i love them, dispite being squeeeky at times.

Either boot mentioned are great. I just went from Sidi Vertebres to A* SMX+ and I really like the A*s. The do squeak quite a bit and take about 30 seconds longer to get into, plus the are larger at the top so you have to tuck jeans or pants into the boot rather than over the top like the Sidis if you are riding around town or to work, but they are more comfortable for me.
I think that the A*s run a bit wider than the Sidis as well.
