I picked up the Scorp EXO-750 earlier this season and have been real pleased. I've always thought Scorp made a great helmet for being "2nd tier." The 750 is labeled as their "trackday helmet," and has the nice feature of a locking shield, plus the pump-up cheek pads. It's real quiet, and no change in pressure when I turn my head to the side. It's also much lighter than the 1000. RECOMMEND.
They def. have some good prices. However, this noise factor from the Spec 1r seems to be dampening my opinion :/
I looked at those quite a bit. I was kind of hoping for the 1000 though because I like the internal visor that flipped down.
Is it really that loud, or are you comparing it to top end helmets.. I mean, if I get a Spec 1r for $300 I'm not going to expect it to be as good as a $700 arai or shoei. But is it that much louder than other helmets I'd buy for around $300?
MONEY BITCHES AND HELMETS!!!!!
Ok, I was getting the vibe that it was going to be like a fighter jet taking off or somethingI always have leftover earplugs in my pockets from work anyways so that will be good. Maybe even my iPod sometimes

Yea man, you can focus a lot easier with ear plugs when riding.
Hey you should consider getting this:
Bell Vortex Torn Gold Helmet from SportbikeTrackGear.com
$100 bucks, can't beat that. Main reason is I want you to try the photochromic visor (turns dark in the sun and clear at night) and report backLet us know how it works for you
webbikeworld gave it some awesome reviews:
