check these out as well, Hybrids are the way to go for street gear.. by far the most versatile with breath-ability but still offer strong protection

    Joe Rocket - Speedmaster 5.0

    Joe Rocket - Reactor 2.0

That's debateable. I lived in North Florida for about a year. I live in the south part of Texas, it's quite a bit different than Austin or Dallas

That's a nice jacket, but see below.. Just looking for something during these hotter months, during the other 7 or 8 cooler months I have a pretty decent jacket.

That reactor looks good, looking around online right now for a store that has them.

Does anyone have any suggestions against joe rocket or reasons against that reactor 2 jacket? Like how it has a fair share of leather in some areas, but also very perforated..

Well my ex gf went to a&m. I spent 3 years in total in college station, Houston, dalles/ ft worth and Galveston. None got anywhere near as hot and sticky as south Florida. Sure the temp reading itself may have been higher. More days at 100+ but the humidity was just nowhere near as high. It always felt hotter when I would come home to Florida.

Cycle Gear - JOE ROCKET: Radar Leather Motorcycle Jacket, BLUE/BLACK

I'm just not a fan of the hump on the back of this jacket, but even at 100 it manages to stay comfortable while I'm moving.
If you really want to do something, you will find a way. If you don't really want to do it, you will find an excuse.
