I'm working on picking up the knox ce elbow guards and chest guard that works in conjunction with the knox back guard I already have and with mesh"style"motoboss pants that have ce armour on the side hip and knee areas. This only leaves my shoulders unprotected (oh of course wear gloves and helmet) for next summer. I'm checking the used motorcycle section for a jacket with ce armor in the elbows or shoulders that I might modify/cut and sew over the winter so I can wear next summer that will pretty much"look" sleeveless (similar to what the icon tarmac jacket looks like that you can remove the sleeves- that might be something you can look into). Then just put it over your t-shirt with some ce armor pants and your steel toed workbooks you are looking for and you will be safe and cool. currently I have to go with my piece by piece set up to get the same result
I haven't found a pair of jean"shorts" with space for me to insert armor in the knee and hip area or even some of those kevlar jeans that have space for armor, but if anyone knows of some PLEASE let me know by replying here
