Oh, F*k a $210 Speeding Ticket!

Yes you are right, i have to admit I was totally wrong to speed where i did and i did desearve the ticket,but the hearing was like no excuses pay-the judge is the jury, proicutor, and judge-this was no fair hearing. Three years of safe riding means nothing, the speeding court was taken here to the supreme court and nothing happened thats how tough it is beat a ticket here. I haven't been mugged for $215 lately, I kind of expect that in NYC though. It was the way i lost that bother me. I would get a big protest sign and stand on the corner mof the court house, but my sister wouldn't like that,so I am kind of stuck,

If you're trying to beat a ticket, then more power to you. But you went about it in completely the wrong way. There's hundreds of websites that show you how to beat a ticket, you should have just followed one of those... or gotten a lawyer. Instead, you tried to give some bullshit excuse, and the judge saw straight through it, knowing that what you were saying was false. You lose.

Dude i just recently went to fight a ticket where the officer lied in court and i brought up what he said being wrong. He stuck to his story and the judge always sides on the side of the officer. You shouldn't be too upset. I recently paid $670 for a aiding and abetting charge that was reduced from a reckless driving and that was after paying a lawyer $1600 to represent me. I was speeding but that's about it. 1 Po thought i was running from him, i never saw him, he called it in, i get popped a mi down the road from where is supposedly happened on a road with at least 20 other bikes that roll through there daily that look like mine. I almost get taken to jail for evading but instead get a reckless and in court get the charges brought down to aiding and abetting = misdemeanor, 1 three year point on my record, 1 year probation and $670 total in fines plus what i paid the lawyer. I'd say you came out ok compared to what i got.

why dont u just go to court, quilty with explanation... and 99% of the time, your first offense gets dropped. you might still pay a fine, but no points, and egt probation before judgement meaning u have 18-24 months where if u egt a ticket, u get both tickets points... and if not then its totally off record.. and might have to take a drive to survive class (i did)
