    Default Got pulled over yesterday!

    Story:

I had just left Best Buy after picking up some new BR movies and was heading home. Pulled out onto FM 1960 at Willowbrook (4 / 4 lane) and headed towards FM 249 (4 / 4 highway). I hit that light, make my right, and shoot across the feeder to get to the entrance ramp of 249. Speed limit goes from 40 to 60. Well being the squid I am I gas it to 60, cruise while I merge in with traffic, pin point a hole, and then tuck and go. Didn't look down but I was def in the tripple digits. Anyways, held it until my exit approached (about a mile after entering), when I see an HPD flying up on my ass, lights on. I sit up from the tuck and pull over onto the emergency lane portion of the highway. Cop gets on the loud speaker "Turn the bike off", so I do.

Knowing my ID was in the bakcpack, I slowly turn around, take off the backpack, face it towards him so he can see what I'm doing, unzip the top little pocket, pull out my wallet, set my wallet behind me on the tail seat, throw my backpack up near the front wheel, take out the ket and put it in my pocket. Dude walks up (he was about 25 yrsold) Asks for my ID, I swivel around and take it out of my wallet, hand it to him. "Where's your license plate?" Me: "Under the seat, lol". "Not a great place for it eh?" "Nah not really, just don't have a braket to mount it". "Can you take it out." "Yeah."I get off the bike, unlock the seat, and hand him the plate.

He walks back to his car and I walk over to the guard rail and plop myself up on top of it. Cars wizzing by at 70 mph isn't a fun thing to stand next to... Well within I'd say 10 seconds from sitting, FIVE MORE DAMN UNITS PULL UP BEHIND HIM. So, now there's 6 HPD cars total. The 5 get out and walk up to the dudes car that pulled me over, some spitting dip, one kicking a rock on the ground, the rest talking to the dude that got me through both of his cars windows, at this point I take out my cell to try and snap some pics but decided to put it away. I took a blind shot but only got the sky, lol. After about 5 mins the 5 walk back to their cars and leave. Dude #1 walks up and says he's writing me for no plate and to just get it mounted and sent in a pic of it and it'll be dismissed. He handed me my stuff and said I won't get you for speeding this time. I said was I speeding? He said yeah. I said how fast was I going? He said I didn't clock you but all I gotta say is I tailed you for 3 blocks. I laughed and said yeah. I signed the shit and put me shit back on. Told me to slow it down and let me go.

Question? Why / how in the hell did 5 more units just pop up like that outta no where and respond so fast? Did he radio it in when he first spotted me and knew he was going to try to pull me over?

Did he really think I was going to run or something seeing as how I was on the highway? I found the whole thing very funny. Amidst the heat, humidity, and sweating my balls off sitting on hot cement, I was just really surprised so many showed up. Never seen anything like that, and I've been pulled over at least a hundread times, only twice on the bike though. The 1st time being a Harley cop that got me.

Good thing you were in a tanktop and flip flops, think of how hot it would be if you actually had gear on!

Try, Helmet, black AMA Superbike T-shirt, A* GP Pro gloves, Gap jeans, and my DC skate shoes.

I don't even own flip-flops. I think those are the most stupid thing for the foot ever invented. And don't get me started on wife beaters... Hella stupid imo.

i dont know, it was interesting.
possible the others just heard the initial call and showed up for nothing better to do, plus bikes run often....so they may have started heading that way. if their in the area it doesn't hurt to show. thats proably why they left also, cop 1 told them you were cooperative so they could take off. you handled the stop like a pro. everything in view, no quick movements. cops happy, your happy. looks good on the cop cam as well.

you could have just said helmet, gloves, tshirt, jeans, and shoes instead of going to extreme detail...
