First police encounter..

Not exciting at all. Got pulled over earlier this evening while cruising the strip for no tags..I have til the 20th to register, so I'm putting it off til then >)

The stop was very straightforward, I pulled over, killed the bike, pulled off my helmet, whipped out my id, insurance and bill of sale and that was that. Cop was very nice..I'm of the opinion that if you treat them good they'll do the same for you.

Another unit pulled up, and this officer evidently rode, because first thing he did when he got out of the car was pat his head and ask where my helmet was (I'd hung it on the footpeg away from the cars), he knew the Shark name, then proceeded to drool over it once I showed it to him. All in all, pleasant experience, got a couple compliments on the lid, glad I wasn't speeding :O

Agree totally if your cool they are usually cool back, unless they are just having a shit day LOL

my last speeding ticket was dismissed after i sat in the courtroom for 3 hours because the cop said i was polite and cooperative.
