    Default Cali fix it ticket

Anyone get one of these out here? I got one and the officer told me it was a $25 fine if I get the items corrected. I get a mailing today stating I have to pay $75.

Did he just not inform me correctly and it is $25 per item I need to fix? That would make sense since I have 3 items on the ticket.

PS. Motorcycle cops in California are the worst.

I'm sure it is 75 dollars if you choose not to fix it. But 25 (mine was 10?) if you bring it to a cop to sign off that you fixed it.

Mine says if I decide to not fix it it will be $710. He told me it use to be $10 but they raised the fees. (makes sense since the state is broke and run by crooks)

This is all over not having blinkers and a plate in the wrong spot.

    Ya, tell me about it.

So anyone know about this ticket because I know I won't be able to call the court and talk to anyone. Says you now have to make a reservation to be able to see a judge about your case.

So did you have an integrated taillight?
    Where was your plate located?

Integrated taillight is also illegal but I just had no blinkers. Plate was hooked on the bottom of the undertail near the battery box. Cop cars never gave me any issues with it but the bike cops have all pulled me over for it.

Do you have led plate bolts to illuminate it? I think the issue was probably that it was not illuminated and not the location. You can pick some of these up cheap at Autozone. As long as it's visible and upright, I don't believe they can dictate the location.

Yeah, in some states integrated is illegal.....but he may have let you slide on it. I got pulled over for it in Texas but he let me by with a warning since I had some type of blinker.

whoa this is news to me, I've been pulled over looked at by many cops going by and never busted on it. I have integrated brake/blinkers, flush mount front blinkers, and my plate is fixed to my bike bag no lights (maybe only matters at night to have the lights on it? I'm gonna stay the hell away from bike cops.
I wanna dip my balls in it !!

You guys have to remember that I am in California and they are nazis when it comes to this stuff. He even told me we have to have reflectors front and rear but let me off on it. It's just a scam to make cash for a very broke state.
