So it was 4 years ago? How long does something like that stay on your driving record?
It counts against you for a surcharge for insurance purposes for 5 years for DUIIf you have a policy it will come off at the first renewal AFTER the 5 year anniversary
I'll try to get you the name of an insurance company that would be more accepting of DUI than most. Give me a week Frenchie012, but what state are you in?? ALSO the conviction date (date you went to court and the final charge was given, OR the date the payment you sent in to pay for the charge was received) is the date insurance companies use, so if about to try and start an insurance policy forum members its worth waiting a week or few days to let any prior convictions/tickets have an anniversary.
What was the conviction date?
-CephasGT... saw you did lots on the previous drawing...shipping items out, etc...so thanks and same to Dzyud!!!!!

We love doing it for this place.
Assuming from your screen name you are either French or Canadian, I'm not sure if you are asking about US laws. Our laws are different from the rest of the world.
In Canada, I think the DUI/DWI conviction stays on your record for 3 years. Not sure about France, but from what I can gather, they are serious business..
