The dude pulled hard as fuck at 70mph and was getting away from me. I was WOT. He slowed down afterwards so I could get next to him and I saw all the gauges on his A pillar. I doubt it was stock. This thing was fast. I gave him the thumbs up and I went on my way. Do people usually turbo or supercharge those things if they go the way of forced induction?
5th gen is 05-13. In 11+ they came out with new engines with significantly more power. I think just over 400hp for the 5.0 GT. If it was a gt500 stock the earlier ones would be neck and neck with your r6 prob but the newest have like 632hp and would smoke it prob.

They do superchargers on the Mustang usually. A 5th gen gt with supercharger would probably be a bit faster, an 11+ would be moreso.

Any idea roughly what your r6 does the quarter? My vrod is supposed to be 11.8 seconds stock and with my exhaust and tuner it's probably around 11.5.. quicker than most cars but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss the power of my r1. If I decide to keep the bike for a long time a turbocharger may be on the menu. Would add around 60hp and bring it into the low 10s.

It was a 2011 or newer GT. I know they are just over 400 hp. Not to backpedal or anything, well kinda, but it wasn't a real race. I was coming up on the guy in the fast lane, he downshifted and took off. I know I wasn't shifting the best I could but this car was fucking fast. What I want to know is how much HP he gained from supercharging it. I had fun though. I gave the guy a thumbs up because he obviously spent the money on a "sleeper" and kicked my ass. No idea on the 1/4 mile times. Depends on the rider I suppose. I don't know what HP I'm pushing. I have full Akra exhaust and a race filter but I don't have it tuned right. The first thing I'm doing next spring is getting it dynotuned.
