Default STG Exclusive graphic Bell RS-1 Born Free gets the green light!

The Bell RS-1 Born Free Helmet is the graphic developed by Bell for our STG AMA Race Team. The response we received at the events was such that we decided to produce the Born Free and offer it here at STG. Every helmet graphic starts with a story. This one is short and sweet. 6 years ago Brian Van starts selling gear from his garage, STG is born. 2011 arrives and finds STG has grown to a team of motorcycle riders 20 strong. Van, Jeff Wrobel and Jake Arch realize the dream of racing in the AMA sporting the most patriotic, kick ass helmet ever seen. This is all proof when you are "Born Free" anything is possible if you are on two wheels.

The pictures below are the final production spec, much improved from the simple design Brian initially started racing in.

Give me a shout DIRECT at Ext. 210 and i'll get you in line for one of the most kickass graphics out there. We will be making a batch of appx. 150 of these. Dont wait til December, preorder now!

looks different than your initial thread about this helmet. idk if it's the post production pictures or what, but this design looks better.

just in time for 9/11 should do quite well. good luck.

yeah it got cleaned up and then had some detail added. that first one was literally handpainted, masking tape and all.

they should have kept the painted front top vent.. the white one makes it look cheaper or unfinished IMO.. Like the graphics better though adding the wave in the red/white stripes and extra shadowing really added a lot more depth to it.

i would have to agree, part of it is quality control and part is replaceability. if they paint the vents when they're closed it looks hokey and if they paint them open it looks dumb when you close them. being a small run they're not going to make replacement parts, so the solid vents are the final decision.

    agreed on the wavey stripes.

I like the touchup. Good stuff!
