^I think that's about right. But I've seen some of the lower end gennys at the track rated @ 1000w just beggin for mercy on 1 set of warmers. It seems the 2000w is like the preferred rig as of late, so the Yamaha above is perfect for the job!![]()

1K isnt enough for overhead. even if you are able to run 1 set of warmers (front & back), you wont have enough to plug in a fan for those super hot days. its possible, but the genny is gonna be laboring big time

But a 2000w is going to labor with 2 sets of warmers on it, right?
^depending on the brand of warmers. i believe chickenhawks eat about 1200watts. my woodcraft dual temps are rated at 800. so ya, if you crunch the numbers right...its possible
I think the nominal output for the Honda Genies are 1600W and MAX 2000W
I would only ever run one set of warmers per generator even if it werent my Chickenhawks.
Anthony, you are more than welcome to borrow my shit if you need to.
Not so sure if I can get up there that weekend, but its yours if you want it.

Plan on 1200W for a set of warmers. I recently picked up a used Yamaha 2400 myself
what's the difference between a generator and an inverter?
Inverter cleans the power so you don't get alot of spikes and dips which can damage your equipment.
