New Race series in the West - TTP racing.

There's a new race series that is starting it's roots at Reno Fernley Racetrack. The company is called TTP Racing and the first race weekend is coming up on September 4th and 5th.

The locals are really getting into it

C configuration is the longest, and usually what they run for track days. I think it is around 3.5 miles long. It's a pretty fun track, really tight and twisty. It isn't in the best shape and doesn't have much in the way of facilities, but track days are pretty cheap ($120-150). The only people running track days up there right now are a couple of clubs from here in reno. SSA Sierra Sportbike Association | Reno Nevada Motorcycle Trackday Weekend Riding Club - Index and www.sportbike775.com both put on days.

Configuration A is actually the longest course...hmm...I thought I responded to this post a couple of days ago...lol. Oh well.

I love it too! Probably my #1 favorite....blasphemy to most but I really do have it at the top. I see more and more people dropping out from this series due to the new case cover revelation but there is a racer discount for those still interested. Just ask around the local shops in Reno (2wcp and SPL) and they will sell the stuff a little over cost.

At the moment, I know of only Chad and I that are down for it. Paul might be in as well but I'm not sure...

Full course =/= perimeter? SBK775's first weekend was great man. Very smooth. Justino picked up the coconut juice habit from you .

They increased the pay outs for superbike. $1000 for first place! I just signed up for the open street class. Any of you Cali guys thinking about coming up?

Bike requirements for the open street class = track day prep. No excuses now.
