First turn coming into Azusa had rocks/pebbles scattered everywhere. Two other blind lefts had a lot of debris as well. GMR was a bit dirty prior to the first rest area. The way down was relatively clean aside from some scattered dust and dirt on the road from the construction.

    FRIDAY 05/08/09. Rode up Azusa/GMR .

All the rodes were very clean! The backside of GMR had one areas with light dirt and another area that appeared to have old oil, along a turn. But other than that, It it awesome out there. I was surprised to see so many bikes on a Friday.

I met at the second gas station (the one right after the shell) with some of my friends. While at the gas station some squid on a new black R6 with an an icon vest and tshirt was going up and down Azusa busting wheelies. It was quite a sight..

I continue to ride the local canyons. Its generally clean. Last weekend I rode ACH out to the 15. Some of these roads were amazingly smooth, and most of it was very clean.

    ^ Since you asked.

I rode Sunday the backside of ACH from Sunland to 9 mile to the 15. I broke off from the group at that point, but everyone else in the group rode to BigBear.

The roads that I covered were very clean, some random rocks here and there that slid off the mountain, but nothing to be too concerned about. There is this section past nine mile that is ridiculously smooth, so smooth that its weird. Definitely a nice long ride worth doing. We did not see any cops at all. However keep in mind that we missed the entire front section off the 210. In addition, some dudes went down, and when the ambulance was called for them a CHP came with them. But other than that, no more cops.

I heard from the others that there were several CHPs at BigBear keeping a very close eye on the riders. In fact, one of my buds got a BS ticket.

Ill be at Azusa/GMR this Sunday late morning.

    12/18/09 - Little T.

I went on a group ride, and was supposed to have hit little T, Bouquet canyon, and Spunky, but I had to bail after Little T. Little T had several dirty spots but some long areas which were clean. And one small section was missing asphalt all together, but there were plenty of warning signs ahead to warn you about it. I was told that Bouqet and Spunky Rd were very nice and clean.

    01/17/10- Azusa - GMR.

Azusa was clean as a track, with the usual automobile traffic, but not heavy. Rode up and down twice. Damned I love this road.

Then took the east fork up to GMR. The backside of GMR was pretty clean on the way up but coming down there were some very dirty areas. There were a lot of bicyclist out there, but there was also a lot of MCs. I know this information is now irrelevant since it is raining, but its cool to document that Southern Cali folks can still ride during the winter!
