About LinkBackssounds like you got the mr.beer kit. its ok to start and learn but ive moved on to making it from scratch, crushed grain. the mr beer kits come with cans of extract you just boil water and add the contents, add yeast and ferment for a few weeks.

Thanks. Brad has been helping me along the way and I have watched him do it a few times so now it's my turn to try it out!

Slowly but surely. Was brewing every couple weeks, just been a little busy lately. Did do my first batch of all grain though.... and found out the consequences of a missed steeping temperature -- a pretty good brown ale with a decidedly malt liquor bite.
It requires an unusual mind to undertake an analysis of the obvious.
